health in gear

Owner drivers have limited resources to address the risks that lead to poor mental health. The transport industry is closely linked to rural communities and agriculture and it is expected that there will be a rise in the need to support this sector due to the impact on communities from droughts and bushfires.

access and support

All financial members have direct access to all board members and are encouraged to contact the NRFA to raise an issue that needs to be brought to attention at a Local, State or Federal Government level.

Funding the association is a constant battle and many board members attend meetings all over the country at their own expense. All board members & delegates donate their time and own money in an effort to make this a better industry. There is no personal reward for this other than to know we did our best for the membership, our administration is funded from membership and sometimes donations to our yearly auction at the AGM when and where it is convenient.

As we continue to grow, we have been fortunate to attract some corporate supporters whom have recognised our challenge and have offered their support by providing not only financial support that enables us to keep our membership fees to a minimum, but also discounts to their products.

Membership is open to Drivers, Owner Operators, Fleet Operators and Industry Participants alike, as it is clear that we all need to work together if we are to bring about change.

Membership numbers are critical in our efforts to gain and maintain a voice at any discussion table that involves any decisions made at Local, State and Federal Government that will have an impact on our industry.

You need the NRFA and the NRFA need you. Become a member today.
